Barbara Arntsen
Born in Southport, North Carolina, Barbara Arntsen moved with her family to Wilmington, NC at the age of six.
She graduated high school from New Hanover High and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University in Communication Arts. Arntsen spent two years in Europe after college before returning to the states and starting a family and career(s).
For almost a decade she worked as a supervisor and training coordinator for a biomedical company in Durham before launching her journalism career. Arntsen worked as a reporter for more than a decade before going into public relations work.
She lives in North Carolina, has two wonderful daughters and is currently working on her second Peri Mason mystery novel.
